Esgic Plus is medication used as a pain reliever and a sedative. It is frequently used as a treatment for mild to moderate pain as well as tension headaches.

Usages

Directions for Intake:

• Esgic Plus is taken orally, as often as indicated in the prescription of your doctor
• Most appropriate time for intake is before the symptom of pain intensifies or heightens
• Finish the entire amount that was prescribed even after beginning to feel better
• Take any missed dose as soon as it is remembered. However, do not double the dosage of your medication at any particular assigned time
• In case of overdosing, seek medical attention immediately

Directions for Storage:

• Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat
• The appropriate temperature for the storage area is between 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 15 to 30 degrees Celsius
• Also choose a storage area that is not easily accessible to children

Side Effects

• Possible side effects of using this medication include dizziness or drowsiness, lightheadedness, nausea, sleeping disturbances
• Can cause possible addiction to this medication
• Can cause liver problems
• Esgic Plus may cause an allergic reaction to some users

Warnings

Precautions:

• Consult your doctor before taking Esgic Plus. Make sure to give your doctor a complete background of your medical history
• Inform your physician of any other prescription or over-the-counter medications that you’re currently taking, especially the following medications: “blood thinners” such as warfarin and narcotic pain medications such as codeine
• Inform your physician of any previous or present experience of having mental or emotional problems and liver problems
• This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Activities that require you to be alert (i.e. driving or operating heavy machineries) should be avoided
• If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Esgic Plus
• If you are lactating, it may be harmful to use Esgic Plus
